Photographing[views:1208][posts:4]_______________________________ [Sep 12,2007 7:56am - uOpt ""] Is taking photographs on shows like Epica/Visions of Atlantis in Mark's officially allowed? I didn't take any pictures for fear of getting kicked out, but maybe I have just been "livenationed" too much? Now I see VoA even requesting pictures, I should have taken some I guess :-/ |

To answer your question, I get permission from the band, record label, and/or promoter. They (mostly) want me there taking pictures (including livenation) cause it gives them near-free publicition and exposure. This is obvious with the fact that you found this site. I am not just (as someone put it to me this week) a kid with a camera. |

Well, VoA on their myspace page page explicitly asks for photos, aka "if you shot one please mail us". If that isn't giving permission I dunno what is, but the question remains whether the venue knows about this and agrees. |
