Monolithe - "Monolithe I"[views:1722][posts:1]__________________________________________ [Oct 28,2003 2:20am - thegreatspaldino ""] i have had this track for about a month... but hot damn... this song is still kicking my ass. its a funeral doom track that clocks in at 52 minutes long. its epic, beautiful, and absolutely crushing both emotionally and aurally. i KNOW dyingmuse must know about this one man project (featuring the growls from the vocalist of Despond). great great great doom. i guess you can compare it to the synth heavy Shape of Despair... but that isnt entirely accurate. the drums are a little bit faster than Shape of Despair. but its still SLOW and AMAZING. anyone else heard/heard of this band? i heard the samples on the site and i just had to download it... i had to wait for the only user who had it on Slsk to send at a staggering 3.4 kbps... and this is a 70+ meg file! so i waited for about 3 days for this track to completely download and im glad i did. ill send to to whoever wants to hear it, granted you have a cable connection. this is probably my favorite doom album of this year :doublehorns: |
