The original, Kairo, was fucking awesome. Though I have low expectations on this remake because they have failed interpretting Japanese films to American audiences too many times. It's also been delayed a shitload, so I bet that it sucks and they're trying to re-edit it so that it doesn't look like total shit.

The original Ringu kicked ass. The original Ju-On was so much better than The Grudge. Pulse looks like another One Missed Call/Grudge/The Ring/blah/blah.
Also, everything DOES suck except 80s thrash
